Last week, I shared the first sneak peek of the monthly layout… and so appreciate hearing back from so many of you! It’s so much fun to see all the excitement from you! Makes me all bubbly!
This week, as we get closer to the end of the year, I wanted to share with you some questions I ask myself every week to keep me on track and growing my biz. It’s also the perfect way to wrap up the week you’re in and prep for the upcoming week!
1. How much moola did you make this week?
You know what they say… if you want to grow your income, then you need to pay attention to it! Tracking your money on a daily/weekly basis allows you to not only show appreciation for it, but it also brings awareness to what you are really making. Do this and you will surely start attracting more moola. One of my favorite teachers on this is Denise Duffield-Thomas, author of Get Rich Lucky Bitch.
Extra Bonus Tip: I track everything coming in… including when I get a gift card, a friend buys me coffee or I get an unexpected discount. You will be surprised how it adds up!
Oh, and the good news is, I have included a simple way to track your moola in the 2015 Planner… YAY!
2. What action(s) did you take to grow your biz this week?
Bringing awareness to the specific actions you took grow your biz is a great way to celebrate your accomplishments. It’s also a great way to build momentum and stay on track!
3. Did you make any offers to potential clients this week?
Seems straight forward enough, but how often do we skip making offers and then wonder why we haven’t gotten any new business? If you’re serious about growing your biz, you need to consistently be making offers to your potential clients. Pick up the phone, head out to a networking group or send out an e-blast… you get the idea. 🙂
4. Are you doing busy work or moola making work?
It’s pretty easy to be busy, but that doesn’t mean you’re doing anything that is going to grow your biz and/or make you moola. So, it’s never a bad idea to assess what you spent your time on… this can be a big eye-opener. You might find out, you need to spend less time being busy and more time makin moola. 🙂
5. Are you asking for help when you need it?
If you’re anything like me, you would rather suffer in great agony than ask for help. But, the ultra-successful know the secret to growing their biz is knowing when to get help! Even if you don’t have the funds to pay someone for help, my guess is, there is someone in your network that would love to do an exchange or just simply help you! All you have to do is ask.
6. Are you delegating the things that aren’t in your sweet spot?
This goes along with #5… stop wasting your time on things that aren’t in your sweet spot. I know it can be hard to delegate, but let me tell you first hand, you will be singing at the top of your lungs… “the hills are alive with the sound of music” when you do! It’s that awesome! Let go of the tasks that don’t make you moola or you just don’t like doing! You will be so glad you did and you will be freed up to do the things that are in your genius, which I am guessing is what makes you the moola!
7. What do you need to focus on this coming week?
Having a plan is the first step to making things happen. And when you have a plan, you know what you need to focus on. Plain and simple! Get clear on what you need to do, to get where you want to go and take action.
8. What is one biz building action you need to do this week and by when?
One of the biggest things I see so many entrepreneurs doing, including myself, is getting wrapped up working “in” the business, rather than “on” the business. As Fabienne Fredrickson from Client Attraction says, you need to set aside time each week to work “on” your biz. Friday’s has always been my biz building days… I do half day biz building and half day playing!
9. Did you practice self-love this week… aka self-care?
I know… you’re busy and you likely are last on your to-do list! But, if you skip this, you will pay… dearly! No matter what, set aside some time for YOU! It’s honestly one of the number one things you can do to grow your biz! The benefits are ridiculous… from boosting your creativity, productivity and more!
10. When and what are you doing this coming week for self-love?
Make yourself a priority and add YOU to your schedule! Trust me, it will pay dividends in so many ways!
