Heading out to blaze your own trail, can be invigorating and terribly scary at the same time.  There is something, however, that can help fuel your success as you step out to create your wildly happy and prosperous biz + life.

Belief in ourselves that we can do something or make happen, seems to be a magical thing.  We often find it so much easier to have faith in someone or something else than it is to have faith in ourselves. Yet if we are going to achieve what we truly desire, it’s the one essential thing you need to have.

If you think about it, the things you truly believe at your core… are real and the things you think you maybe aren’t good at or can’t do… well that’s is true too… or is it?

You see, what you think you are naturally good at or can easily go out and achieve, you do.  It becomes simple, because you believe you can and will do it at your core.

The question is, what would happen, if you believed at your core you were amazing at getting clients, making money, creating more than enough time everyday to do what you love and the list goes on?

Belief in yourself gives you the power to change everything.  No one will argue the power of our mind and it is the power of our mind that has the ability to shift our perception and provide that deep seeded belief we can do it.

It’s an interesting phenomenon. People who believe that they will succeed, actually do. Some people call it the secret or the law of attraction, while others call it luck and still others consider it good old-fashioned hard work. Whatever you believe, having faith in yourself leads to success. In fact, it’s seriously difficult to succeed without it.

So how do you cultivate this sincere belief in yourself?

Sometimes it’s easy to believe in ourselves for one particular thing but difficult to have faith in ourselves for another. For example, you know you’re great with people so you have wonderful personal and romantic relationships and any goals you set with respect to relationships are easily accomplished. However, you’re not so confident about your money skills and your financial goals are always a struggle. What’s the solution?

Faith in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals, regardless of what they are, can be grown and nurtured by focusing on what you do well.  So, start small.  It’s tough to hang onto a belief in yourself if you’re trying to accomplish a goal you’re just not ready for.

You wouldn’t just jump off the couch and expect to run a marathon, right? Start with goals you know you can accomplish and grow from there.  If money is a struggle, start by implementing a small goal.  For example, start by saving $5.00 a week and build your confidence.  See how great you are at saving $5.00 a week and celebrate yourself for doing so.  Then raise the bar little by little.

Don’t get caught up in thinking you have to do it on your own.  Faith in yourself doesn’t mean you’re flying solo! It’s incredibly helpful to have support, accountability and encouragement from a coach who can help you cultivate that belief you’re striving for.  Focus on your strengths and what you know you can accomplish and trust that you can find the right experts to help you in those other areas.

Belief in yourself is essential to accomplishing your goals and dreams. When you have it, everything is possible.
